Drive new business within assigned territory, focusing on DACH market
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across multiple personas
Create 80% of pipeline by identifying new business opportunities and engaging prospects
Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts (+/- 10 of goal) to ensure predictable revenue
Effectively communicate Benchling platform value and tailor presentations/proposals
Lead negotiations with potential clients, navigating organizational complexities and securing agreements
Work across personas within accounts to align Benchling solutions with business objectives
Partner with marketing, product, customer success, and Channel teams to ensure client success
Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies
Requirements
German-speaking
Proven experience as an Account Executive, preferably within a data management, workflow SaaS or technology-driven environment that sells to multiple personas across IT & Line of business
Demonstrated ability to drive pipeline generation and manage complex sales cycles
Strong sales forecasting skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
Demonstrated success selling products outside pre-established budgets, with ability to build a compelling business case and influence purchasing decisions
Experience engaging diverse personas within an account (technical, business decision makers & CxO)
Dynamic communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with strong drive to achieve and exceed goals
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Familiarity with MEDDIC sales methodology is a plus
Knowledge of the life sciences industry (R&D and/or IT functions) preferred
Bachelor’s degree preferred (life sciences major preferred)
