About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Map, analyze and redesign financial processes (accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, tax)
Identify operational bottlenecks and propose solutions focused on efficiency, scalability and error reduction
Develop automations and improvements using:
SQL (data extraction and manipulation)
VBA (Excel automation)
Python (data processing and automations)
Improve the quality and governance of financial data
Support and lead continuous improvement projects (e.g., reduce processing time, digitization, system integrations)
Collaborate with other teams (Finance, Accounting, IT)
Document processes and create operational procedures and policies
Support the evolution of ERP Protheus usage (configurations, enhancements, integrations)
Create operational metrics and dashboards to monitor performance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or Accounting
Minimum 3 years of professional experience
Practical knowledge of:
SQL (intermediate)
VBA (intermediate/advanced)
Python (intermediate)
Experience with ERP Protheus
Experience in process mapping and design (BPMN or similar)
Experience documenting processes and creating procedures
Experience with financial automation or RPA projects
Strong analytical skills and a critical view of processes
Ability to drive initiatives independently
Inquisitive mindset, proactive, good communication skills and organized
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in technology companies or high-growth environments
Knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, etc.)
Familiarity with system integrations (APIs)
