About the role
- Design and maintain data pipelines using Airflow (DAGs) to support fraud detection workflows
- Process and analyze large volumes of transactional data using Spark
- Develop, evaluate and monitor fraud risk scoring models
- Perform exploratory analyses to identify fraud patterns, anomalies and emerging risk behaviors
- Create and maintain dashboards to monitor fraud KPIs (approval rate, chargeback rate, fraud rate, false positives, among others)
- Collaborate with Product, Payments and Risk teams to evolve fraud prevention strategies
- Contribute to MLOps and ML Engineering practices for deployment and monitoring of fraud models
- Participate in discussions on antifraud strategy, risk exposure and product health
- Ensure decisions are made based on clear metrics and a balance between risk and conversion
Requirements
- Experience with Airflow and building data pipelines
- Experience with Spark for large-scale processing
- Proven experience in fraud analysis and risk modeling
- Experience building and monitoring fraud scoring models
- Experience creating dashboards and tracking fraud KPIs
- Knowledge of MLOps and ML Engineering
- Strong SQL skills and data analysis ability
- Conversational Spanish (intermediate level or higher)
