About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for the administration and control of corporate technology and infrastructure assets
- Ensure accurate recording, traceability, and compliance throughout all stages of the lifecycle of equipment, software, and licenses
- Maintain and update the asset database (hardware, software, licenses, and peripherals) in the management system (CMDB or equivalent)
- Perform periodic reconciliations between physical inventory and system records, identifying discrepancies and recommending corrections
- Monitor equipment lifecycle — procurement, allocation, movement, maintenance, return, and disposal
- Prepare management reports and dashboards to track installed assets, costs, depreciation, and contracts
- Manage warranty periods, maintenance contracts, and software licensing, notifying stakeholders of renewals and expirations
- Support internal and external audits related to asset management and compliance
- Participate in defining control standards, asset labeling, and naming conventions
- Support field teams and projects with equipment movement and tracking requests
- Identify opportunities to improve and automate asset management processes
- Contribute to the review and implementation of governance and sustainability policies for equipment disposal.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields
- Previous experience in IT asset management, inventory, and asset control
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (data manipulation, dashboards, and formulas)
- Experience with ITSM and CMDB tools (ServiceNow, Snipe-IT, GLPI, Jira, etc.)
- Knowledge of ITIL processes, especially Asset & Configuration Management
