About the role

  • Work on maintenance, support, and evolution of a legacy (monolithic) system in .NET Framework 4.7.
  • Develop new features using a microservices architecture in .NET 8+.
  • Work with SQL Server databases, including integrations with Azure SQL.
  • Operate in a cloud environment (Microsoft Azure).
  • Develop and maintain integrations between systems, including use of messaging.
  • Ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to development best practices.
  • Support the architectural evolution of applications.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with .NET Framework (4.x) and .NET (8+).
  • Knowledge of SQL Server.
  • Experience working in Azure cloud environments.
  • Experience with system integrations (APIs, messaging, etc.).
  • Experience maintaining legacy systems.
  • Nice to have: Experience with Angular 2+.
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps (especially CI/CD pipelines).
  • Experience with Azure Functions.
  • Experience migrating monoliths to microservices.
  • Experience with ASP.NET (Framework), NHibernate, and jQuery.
  • Ability to propose architectural and performance improvements and promote best practices.
