About the role

  • Incident management
  • Ticket monitoring
  • Event monitoring
  • Responsible for clients' day-to-day operations
  • In charge of detecting, mitigating and resolving issues related to DDoS attacks targeting clients
  • Serve as the frontline for handling incidents and client concerns that may be related to the Network and/or Platform
  • Participate in the analysis, review and summarization of incidents for clients
  • Participate in incident handling with subject matter experts
  • Ensure tickets are handled appropriately
  • All tickets must be updated and handled according to the SOC's defined incident management process
  • All tickets must be properly recorded to avoid gaps in how tickets are handled
  • All events from the email, platform and chat modules must be analyzed, ensuring they are addressed effectively
  • Closely coordinate with service Level 1 to ensure immediate actions and troubleshooting are taken as soon as an incident is reported.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
  • Advanced level of English
  • CCNA / JNCIA certification is a plus
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Security Operations Center
  • Knowledge of DDoS attack types is a plus
  • Experience in Information Security
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, IGPs, BGP, GRE and DNS
  • Experience with BGP and tuning
  • Experience planning, configuring and troubleshooting service provider (SP) networks
  • Experience and knowledge of DDoS mitigation technologies and solutions
  • Solid knowledge of modern Internet technologies and business
