About the role
- Incident management
- Ticket monitoring

- Responsible for clients' day-to-day operations
- In charge of detecting, mitigating and resolving issues related to DDoS attacks targeting clients
- Serve as the frontline for handling incidents and client concerns that may be related to the Network and/or Platform
- Participate in the analysis, review and summarization of incidents for clients
- Participate in incident handling with subject matter experts
- Ensure tickets are handled appropriately
- All tickets must be updated and handled according to the SOC's defined incident management process
- All tickets must be properly recorded to avoid gaps in how tickets are handled
- All events from the email, platform and chat modules must be analyzed, ensuring they are addressed effectively
- Closely coordinate with service Level 1 to ensure immediate actions and troubleshooting are taken as soon as an incident is reported.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- Advanced level of English
- CCNA / JNCIA certification is a plus
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Security Operations Center
- Knowledge of DDoS attack types is a plus
- Experience in Information Security
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, IGPs, BGP, GRE and DNS
- Experience with BGP and tuning
- Experience planning, configuring and troubleshooting service provider (SP) networks
- Experience and knowledge of DDoS mitigation technologies and solutions
- Solid knowledge of modern Internet technologies and business
