About the role
- Design and develop learning content for in-person sessions; digital learning content/courses; blended learning journeys; workshops and webinars; multimedia video content.
- Utilise adult learning theory and instructional design principles.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to ensure accuracy and relevancy of learning content.
- Translate complex information into digestible and accessible learning experiences.
- Use creative software.
- Manage the integration of third-party learning content into our learning library.
- Conduct Needs Assessments.
- Review, update, version control, and quality management of learning materials.
- Monitor and Evaluate Learning Content.
- Maintain own continuous professional development, and stay updated with learning insights, and innovative solutions.
- Support Learning Management System (LMS) Administration.
- Provide support to the wider People & OD Team / Practice Development Facilitators
Requirements
- Proven track record in creating and delivering high-quality learning content
- Experience of working with subject matter experts to create innovative and engaging learning content
- Practical experience conducting training needs analyses and evaluating learning effectiveness
- Certification in Instructional Design or eLearning Development (e.g., CIPD, ATD)
- Good understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design models
- Expertise in designing engaging, learner-centred content across multiple formats (e-learning, workshops, webinars)
- Proficiency with learning authoring tools
- Familiarity with LMS platforms and SCORM compliance
