About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build an understanding of current SAP ECC solutions and support the transition to S/4HANA
- Ensure that production requirements are properly reflected in solution design
- Define how functionalities should be distributed across SAP, MES, EWM, and other systems to support the target architecture
- Participate in solution design and architecture discussions
- Collaborate with production stakeholders, SAP experts, and development teams
- Act as a link between business and IT to ensure aligned solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5–10 years of experience working with SAP
- Good knowledge of SAP modules related to production and warehouse, such as:
- PP (Production Planning)
- MM (Materials Management)
- WM/EWM (Warehouse Management / Extended Warehouse Management)
- Experience with, or a good understanding of, S/4HANA
- Experience working with production processes and systems
- Knowledge of MES systems and their integration with ERP
- Experience in solution design, architecture, or system integration
- Experience from larger implementation or transformation projects is an advantage
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Good communication skills and ability to work across teams
- Able to understand both business needs and technical solutions
- Comfortable working in a large, international project environment
- Proactive and not afraid to engage with different stakeholders
