About the role

  • Plan, specify and execute manual and automated tests to ensure the quality of deliverables;
  • Create and maintain test cases, scenarios and checklists based on system requirements;
  • Define the test approach, time and effort estimates, and determine test levels and cycles according to each scenario;
  • Plan and execute functional, regression and integration tests;
  • Create and maintain test automation scripts;
  • Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to validate functionality;
  • Investigate bugs, analyze logs and assist in identifying root causes of incidents;
  • Record, document and version test executions and evidence;
  • Monitor quality results and indicators;
  • Act proactively to ensure the quality of deliveries before production release, minimizing risks and incidents;
  • Contribute to the improvement of the team's testing and automation practices.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related fields;
  • Solid experience in software testing in agile environments (Scrum or Kanban);
  • Proficiency in testing techniques (black box, white box, exploratory, regression and integration);
  • Experience in modeling and documenting test cases, acceptance criteria and functional and non-functional test strategies;
  • Experience with manual testing (web, APIs and integrated systems) and API testing (Postman, REST and JSON payload analysis);
  • Test automation with Robot Framework, including script creation, suite organization and use of libraries (e.g., SeleniumLibrary);
  • Knowledge of web automation with Selenium;
  • Version control with Git and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps), including automation integration;
  • Ability to analyze logs and investigate defects;
  • Experience with software quality metrics (test coverage, defect rate and rework);
  • Experience with performance testing;
  • Knowledge of BDD (Gherkin);
  • Understanding of software architecture for risk analysis;
  • Experience with ROI analysis applied to quality;
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL for data validation.
