Lead Digital UX UI Designer

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and champion the UX vision and strategy for digital platforms
- Ensure user experience decisions align with business goals, customer needs, and data insights
- Establish and maintain UX standards, frameworks, and best practices across the organization
- Advocate for the customer through research, testing, and data-driven decision making
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of UX designers
- Provide feedback, coaching, and career development for UX team members
- Help scale UX capabilities, processes, and design systems across the organization
- Foster collaboration between UX, Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing
- Create or guide the creation of wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and interaction designs
- Contribute directly to complex UX challenges and high-impact projects
- Facilitate workshops and design reviews to ensure quality and alignment
- Participate in usability testing, research analysis, and design validation
- Partner with Product and Engineering to deliver high-quality digital experiences
- Work with analytics and optimization teams to identify opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to enhance the customer journey and conversion performance
- Communicate UX decisions clearly to stakeholders and executives
- Use experimentation, analytics, and user research to improve user experience and business outcomes
- Identify friction points in the customer journey and drive solutions
- Help implement a culture of test-and-learn and data-driven design decisions
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7-9 years experience in UX design, product design, or digital experience design
- Required experience leading UX initiatives for large-scale digital products or ecommerce platforms
- Proven ability to lead and mentor designers
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design and problem solving
- Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
- Ability to communicate design concepts and strategy to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Preferred experience working in ecommerce or retail environments
- Familiarity with A/B testing, experimentation, and data-driven design
- Preferred experience building or maintaining design systems
- Preferred experience collaborating with product and engineering teams in agile environments
