About the role
- Lead strategic workforce planning to align workforce capabilities with current and future business strategy
- Design and govern Belden’s enterprise-wide talent strategy and policies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Drive succession planning and talent reviews to ensure a strong and diverse pipeline of future-ready leaders
- Oversee the global performance management cycle, ensuring consistency, fairness, and meaningful outcomes
- Build and evolve career frameworks and competency models that enable career progression and talent mobility
- Drive initiatives that support internal mobility and create clear pathways for employees to grow within Belden
- Lead efforts to identify, assess, and accelerate development of high-potential employees at all levels
- Ensure individual Career Development Plans and succession plans are actively managed and executed
- Partner closely with senior business leaders and HR peers to strengthen leadership capability and sustain a high-performance culture
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including significant experience in talent management, workforce planning, and performance management
- Proven ability to influence and partner with executives and senior leaders across functions
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and executive presence skills
- Experience designing and governing enterprise-wide talent strategy, succession planning, and talent reviews
- Experience building career frameworks, competency models, and driving internal mobility
- Experience identifying, assessing, and accelerating development of high-potential employees
- Ability to manage Career Development Plans and succession plan execution
- Preferred location greater Indianapolis or Chicago; open to remote candidates
