About the role

  • Lead strategic workforce planning to align workforce capabilities with current and future business strategy
  • Design and govern Belden’s enterprise-wide talent strategy and policies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
  • Drive succession planning and talent reviews to ensure a strong and diverse pipeline of future-ready leaders
  • Oversee the global performance management cycle, ensuring consistency, fairness, and meaningful outcomes
  • Build and evolve career frameworks and competency models that enable career progression and talent mobility
  • Drive initiatives that support internal mobility and create clear pathways for employees to grow within Belden
  • Lead efforts to identify, assess, and accelerate development of high-potential employees at all levels
  • Ensure individual Career Development Plans and succession plans are actively managed and executed
  • Partner closely with senior business leaders and HR peers to strengthen leadership capability and sustain a high-performance culture

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including significant experience in talent management, workforce planning, and performance management
  • Proven ability to influence and partner with executives and senior leaders across functions
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and executive presence skills
  • Experience designing and governing enterprise-wide talent strategy, succession planning, and talent reviews
  • Experience building career frameworks, competency models, and driving internal mobility
  • Experience identifying, assessing, and accelerating development of high-potential employees
  • Ability to manage Career Development Plans and succession plan execution
  • Preferred location greater Indianapolis or Chicago; open to remote candidates
