About the role
- Develop a five-year roadmap to transform conventional production lines into fully or partially unmanned operations
- Plan and execute the systematic replacement of manual involvement in safety- and ergonomics-critical tasks with robotic solutions
- Drive gross margin improvement through the automation of production lines and enhance overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) by upgrading and modernizing equipment
- Lead the digital transformation of the Belden Production System to enable data-driven operations and continuous improvement
- Build and maintain a sustainable pipeline of cost savings through Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) initiatives
- Ensure all new product designs comply with design-for-manufacturing principles optimized for automated production environments
Requirements
- Education – Engineering degree with a focus on manufacturing or automation technologies
- Experience – 10+ years of experience in implementing advanced manufacturing and automation strategies, 5+ years in a leadership role
- Knowledge & skills – Strong expertise in robotics, process optimization, lean manufacturing and digital manufacturing systems
- Personality – Strategic, analytical, and highly driven to achieve operational excellence, strong global leadership and communication skills, effectively managing cross-functional teams and providing clear, data-driven reports to senior leadership
- Language proficiency – Fluent in English with strong communication skills across technical and executive levels.
