About the role

  • Ensure the quality of the products and constantly improve them with your team
  • Take care of the expansion of test automation as part of an agile software development team
  • Support the developers in the implementation and execution of functional tests
  • Define test strategies and test plans
  • Design test cases based on user stories and their acceptance criteria
  • Develop and are responsible for the conception and execution of explorative, manual tests in sprint
  • Continuously expand automated regression tests and integrate into the Continuous Integration environment

Requirements

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, communications engineering or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in state-of-the-art test methodology and testing frameworks
  • Implementing automated tests including unit, functional, and integration tests
  • Deep understanding of Layer 2 and 3 routing and switching
  • Very good understanding of data structures and scripting languages, especially Python
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to work
  • Ability to excel as a team player
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and emerging technologies
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Ability or willingness to work in German-speaking environment
