About the role
- Define and own the strategic vision, roadmap, and portfolio for Belden's Discrete solution line.
- Lead deep discovery of customer problems, market needs, and evolving industry trends within the Discrete vertical.
- Drive the solution Bill of Materials (BOM) lifecycle management, from concept to end-of-life, ensuring optimal performance and market fit.
- Collaborate with Product Group and Global Vertical Leads to ensure product development aligns with solution line needs and supports vertical execution at scale.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Solution Line Managers, acting as the primary internal advocate and subject matter expert for your solution line.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (7+ years) in product management, solution management, or strategic marketing within the Discrete manufacturing or industrial automation sector.
- Proven ability to define and own strategic visions, roadmaps, and portfolios for complex solution lines.
- Deep understanding of customer problems, market trends, and competitive landscapes within the Discrete vertical.
- Strong cross-functional leadership, customer-centricity, and team development skills.
- Demonstrated accountability for revenue growth, market share, and successful launch/adoption of new solutions within a vertical.
