About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Generate and close new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and strategic partnerships.
- Conduct consultative discovery conversations to identify client needs and align BELAY’s financial solutions with business goals.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through proposal development, negotiation, and close.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities while consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Develop and maintain referral relationships with CPAs, financial advisors, business consultants, and other strategic partners.
- Collaborate with Marketing and internal stakeholders to support lead conversion and market growth initiatives.
- Travel regularly within the assigned territory to support client meetings, networking opportunities, partner relationship development, and other business activities.
- Deliver virtual and in-person presentations and business discussions to executive-level decision-makers.
- Maintain an understanding of accounting, finance, and business operations to effectively position BELAY’s services.
- Utilize Salesforce, Gong Engage, or similar platforms to manage pipeline activity, forecast revenue, and maintain accurate customer records.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of successful B2B sales experience in financial services, accounting services, financial technology, ERP, bookkeeping, payroll, CFO advisory, or related industries.
- Demonstrated history of achieving or exceeding sales quotas and performance goals.
- Experience generating new business opportunities through proactive outbound business development activities.
- Experience selling consultative, relationship-based solutions involving multiple stakeholders and longer sales cycles.
- Working knowledge of accounting and financial management concepts.
- Experience developing referral partnerships that support recurring revenue growth.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms preferred.
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities, follow through on commitments, and maintain attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
