About the role

  • Serve as the first point of escalation for day-to-day client inquiries and accounting issues
  • Deliver accurate, timely, and actionable financial reporting that helps clients understand performance and key metrics
  • Identify accounting or process challenges, recommend data-driven solutions, and communicate changes clearly
  • Support Staff Accountants in daily operations and professional development through guidance and feedback
  • Collaborate with the Accounting Manager to maintain client satisfaction and ensure engagement scope alignment
  • Execute and oversee core accounting functions including month-end revenue entries and reconciliations
  • Prepare financial statements and variance analysis
  • Maintain organized, accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 4-8 years of accounting experience, preferably in client-service or outsourced accounting environments
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and month-end close processes
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and related applications (e.g., BiLL, Gusto, Shopify, Rippling, & Xenett)
  • Excellent communication skills and client service orientation
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines in a remote environment
  • High attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
