About the role

  • You will be an integral member of a commercial/sales team composed of a Category Manager, Key Account Managers, a Retail Director and a Retail Assistant
  • Business monitoring (50%): Monthly analysis of commercial levers across categories and our brands within assigned retailers, and presentation of these reports to the team
  • Assortment tracking: Analyze assortment movements, evaluate the performance of new product listings, and create rankings by segment and brand within each retailer
  • Merchandising analysis: Analyze merchandising data by retailer
  • Ad-hoc analyses: Performed according to priorities and retailer needs
  • Commercial & marketing interface (20%): Contribute to the development of sales support tools for assortment and promotions, and make them available to the sales force via the software interface
  • Work closely with marketing teams (e.g., product launches)
  • Ad-hoc: Organize trade shows and exhibitions with the support team
  • Preparation of internal/client/ad-hoc meetings (30%): Depending on retailer activity and the time of year: merchandising meetings, category meetings

Requirements

  • You are a student on a gap year (césure) or in your final year of studies
  • You demonstrate rigor, have strong analytical skills and are adaptable
  • You are comfortable and proficient with Excel
  • Ideally, you have commercial experience related to retail (field or head office) and are familiar with market indicators (DN - Numeric Distribution, DV - Value Distribution, PDM - Market Share, PDL - Shelf Share)
