About the role
- Together with your Sector Manager counterparts, you will ensure Materne's commercial presence by optimizing the following levers:
- Category presence & availability (Numerical Distribution): Monitor and prevent out-of-stock situations for our products on shelf
- Ensure product listings/assortments are maintained
- Merchandiser: Maintain impeccable shelf presentation through corrective actions and by checking POS signage and labeling
- Re-planogram shelves according to the layouts negotiated by the Area Sales Managers
- Promotion: Execute national promotional operations negotiated by the Area Sales Managers
- Capture upsell and add-on sales opportunities specific to each store
- Administrative: Report information and provide feedback to the Area Sales Managers regarding actions taken
- To carry out your duties, you must be comfortable with IT tools: CRM software for daily reporting and Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- This position involves early morning hours and travel by car to visit points of sale.
Requirements
- Minimum commercial vocational diploma (Bac Pro) or equivalent
- You have either initial operational experience as a Sales Promoter in grocery/mass retail (GMS) or significant experience in a hypermarket/supermarket as a shelf associate
- Teamwork is essential to achieve your individual and shared objectives
- You can adapt your approach depending on your interlocutors (shelf staff, department managers, colleagues)
- You are organized since you will manage your route schedule in collaboration with your assigned Area Sales Manager
- You will be a field sales representative; a valid driving license (category B) is required.
