About the role

  • Oversee all activities within the production unit to achieve SQCDME standards (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Motivation, Environment).
  • Optimize productivity and costs while ensuring strict compliance with procedures and safeguarding the safety of your teams.
  • Lead and unite a multidisciplinary team (3 workshop managers, 6 production lines, 90 employees in total); develop skills and support employee career progression.
  • Monitor and manage performance indicators, implement continuous improvement plans, and optimize teams and production equipment.
  • Ensure production targets are met: guarantee on-time, high-quality, compliant deliveries.
  • Oversee the unit’s budget (operational and investment), analyze results, and lead productivity and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and environmental standards (HACCP, IFS, BRC, etc.); participate in continuous improvement and both internal and external audits.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree (generalist or in food science) with 5 to 10 years’ experience in a similar role within an industrial environment, ideally in food or FMCG.
  • Proven experience in team management.
  • Proficiency with team leadership and continuous improvement tools (Lean, 5S, Kaizen, etc.).
  • Strong skills in budget oversight, analysis and synthesis, and familiarity with production data.
  • Good operational command of English.
