About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead our Quality Assurance function and ensure the delivery of reliable, scalable, and high-quality software solutions.
Oversee both manual and automated testing teams.
Establish testing strategies and standards.
Partner with product and engineering leaders to embed quality into every stage of the development lifecycle.
Manage, mentor, and grow a team of QA Analysts.
Define career paths and provide coaching, training, and professional development.
Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture that prioritizes quality and accountability.
Define and implement the QA strategy, aligning with organizational and product goals.
Establish QA standards, processes, and metrics for manual, automated, performance, and security testing.
Ensure appropriate test coverage across functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Leads, and Business Analysts to ensure clear requirements and acceptance criteria.
Advocate for quality across the organization by influencing stakeholders at all levels.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including at least 3+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong expertise in QA methodologies, test strategy, and best practices across manual and automated testing.
Hands-on experience with defect tracking, test management, and automation tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium).
Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Master’s degree or equivalent advanced education (preferred).
ISTQB Advanced, CSTE, or equivalent QA certification (preferred).
Experience with performance, security, and compliance testing (preferred).
Background in SaaS, cloud-based, or enterprise-scale application environments (preferred).
