About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead our Quality Assurance function and ensure the delivery of reliable, scalable, and high-quality software solutions.
- Oversee both manual and automated testing teams.
- Establish testing strategies and standards.
- Partner with product and engineering leaders to embed quality into every stage of the development lifecycle.
- Manage, mentor, and grow a team of QA Analysts.
- Define career paths and provide coaching, training, and professional development.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture that prioritizes quality and accountability.
- Define and implement the QA strategy, aligning with organizational and product goals.
- Establish QA standards, processes, and metrics for manual, automated, performance, and security testing.
- Ensure appropriate test coverage across functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Leads, and Business Analysts to ensure clear requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Advocate for quality across the organization by influencing stakeholders at all levels.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including at least 3+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong expertise in QA methodologies, test strategy, and best practices across manual and automated testing.
- Hands-on experience with defect tracking, test management, and automation tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium).
- Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Master’s degree or equivalent advanced education (preferred).
- ISTQB Advanced, CSTE, or equivalent QA certification (preferred).
- Experience with performance, security, and compliance testing (preferred).
- Background in SaaS, cloud-based, or enterprise-scale application environments (preferred).
