About the role
- Lead multi-site maintenance operations across two plants, ensuring equipment reliability and maximum operational uptime.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop maintenance technicians and supervisors.
- Manage machinery installations, upgrades, and timely repairs.
- Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Use data and maintenance KPIs to reduce unplanned downtime and increase equipment performance.
- Maintain strict adherence to local regulations and company safety standards.
- Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring all machinery meets quality and compliance requirements.
- Develop and manage maintenance budgets, including labour, spare parts, and capital expenditures.
- Maintain accurate inventory and optimize supply purchasing.
- Plan and manage major repairs, equipment overhauls, and facility improvement projects.
- Provide regular updates on equipment performance, maintenance KPIs, and project progress to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Strong background in mechanical, electrical, or industrial systems.
- 5 – 7+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or related environment.
- Demonstrated success managing teams, budgets, and large-scale maintenance projects.
- Proficiency with maintenance management software.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a continuous-improvement mindset.
- Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of safety standards, regulatory compliance, and best practices.
