About the role

  • Report directly to the Executive Producer and partner closely with the Senior Creative Director to translate creative goals into compelling, innovative gameplay experiences.
  • Own the design direction across game modes, player progression, content, and systems, ensuring execution is cohesive, impactful, and aligned with long-term objectives.
  • Balance design priorities with player expectations, identify areas for improvement, and challenge the status quo while respecting player preferences.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Design Director and Game Director on a successful PC/console live multiplayer game.
  • Strong expertise in gameplay design, covering mechanics, meta strategy, level design, systems, content pacing, and player objectives.
  • Demonstrated track record in video games showing creativity, innovation, and strong analytical skills to translate player behavior into meaningful design decisions.
  • Deep understanding of live-service games and what it takes to keep players returning.
  • Proven ability to pitch ideas, influence teams, and align cross-discipline stakeholders.
  • Passion for asymmetrical gameplay and evolving multiplayer experiences.
