About the role
- Create high-quality VFX according to the Art Director's vision.
- Act as a bridge between design, art, and technology to integrate VFX that enhance gameplay mechanics.
- Collaborate with various departments to create and implement effects.
- Optimize VFX performance across multiple platforms.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience as a VFX artist in the video game industry.
- 3 years of experience with Unreal Engine and Maya.
- Deep knowledge of particle systems and shader usage.
- Strong foundation in modeling, texturing, UV mapping, and lighting.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of multiple game engines is a plus.
- Comfortable communicating and writing documentation in French and English (the majority of contracts are in English).
