About the role

  • Create high-quality VFX according to the Art Director's vision.
  • Act as a bridge between design, art, and technology to integrate VFX that enhance gameplay mechanics.
  • Collaborate with various departments to create and implement effects.
  • Optimize VFX performance across multiple platforms.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience as a VFX artist in the video game industry.
  • 3 years of experience with Unreal Engine and Maya.
  • Deep knowledge of particle systems and shader usage.
  • Strong foundation in modeling, texturing, UV mapping, and lighting.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of multiple game engines is a plus.
  • Comfortable communicating and writing documentation in French and English (the majority of contracts are in English).
