About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Architect and lead the development of modular, high-performance UIs using Angular
Design and implement robust, secure business services and APIs using C# .NET
Lead development within a cloud native environment with containerized applications using Docker
Drive DevOps maturity and automation
Champion automated testing strategies to ensure high quality deliverables
Ensure compliance with secure coding practices tailored to our highly regulated environment
Participate as a key member of an agile POD
Produce Technical design documents and commented code that adheres to company coding and documentation standards
Drive innovative practices including emerging trends in AI assisted coding and agentic coding

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
7+ years of hands-on full stack development experience, preferably within the financial services or banking sector
Strong proficiency in front end and back-end technologies specifically: C# .NET (modern versions), Typescript, Angular
API design and integration patterns
Extensive experience with cloud-native architectures in Azure including: Containerization and orchestration
API first and event driven design
Microservices Architecture
Proven experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing tools
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
Understanding of secure coding practices and regulatory environments (e.g. PCI DSS, PIPA, PIPEDA, ISO27001) in the financial industry preferred
Knowledge of Core Banking Systems, Payment Processing, or Financial Messaging standards (e.g. ISO 20022, FDX) is preferred
