Investigating deliverability issues using authentication results, bounce logs, deferral trends, reputation signals, and engagement data
Reviewing sender behavior, list acquisition methods, and growth patterns to identify risk, ensure compliance, and offer guidance
Enforcing beehiiv’s Acceptable Use Policy across email sending, ads, Boosts, website hosting, and digital services
Identifying and evaluating monetization-related abuse
Assessing hosted websites and content for compliance with platform rules and relevant legal requirements
Working directly with customers through our ticketing system to troubleshoot authentication issues, explain AUP requirements, and help improve sending practices
Handling abuse reports and escalations, documenting findings, recommending actions, and coordinating with internal partners when necessary
Spotting emerging patterns or risks and sharing those insights with the appropriate internal teams

Requirements

3–4 years of experience in email deliverability, compliance, anti-abuse, or trust & safety
A solid understanding of SPF, DKIM, DMARC, BIMI, DNS fundamentals, and how authentication impacts inbox placement
Experience analyzing email headers, bounce/deferral codes, engagement signals, and domain/IP reputation to uncover root causes
Familiarity with privacy and anti-spam regulations such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL, and awareness of global data protection principles
Clear, confident communication skills and the ability to translate technical findings into practical, actionable steps for customers and internal teams
Comfort working in a ticketing system, managing multiple customer cases, and maintaining consistent, thoughtful communication
A collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with our Mail Ops, Support, Security, and Product teams
