About the role
- Build out the core hosting and deployment platform for our main application
- Migrate the main application from Heroku to a self-hosted platform on AWS
- Develop CI/CD pipelines and deployment mechanisms
- Manage monitoring and alerting for the infrastructure
- Support project development across various teams
Requirements
- Worked with infrastructure, Site Reliability (SRE), DevOps, or Cloud Engineering
- Experience provisioning, managing, and automating AWS infrastructure
- Familiar with SOC II implementation
- Experience with Terraform or other IaC
- Proven experience provisioning and managing Kubernetes clusters
- Writing IAM policies and provisioning SSO authentication
- Experience with CI/CD technologies like GitHub Actions
- Building and managing VPNs and network access
- Experience with observability, monitoring, and alerting tools
- Understanding of fault tolerance, availability, scalability, and disaster recovery strategies
- Comfort with using Clickhouse and Kafka Ecosystem
