About the role
- You are jointly responsible for achieving business targets with a focus on optimizing capacity utilization, working closely with the Revenue Manager
- You successfully negotiate high-profile events and functions at the Lindner Hotel and BEECH Resort with attendee numbers of several hundred
- You conduct sales meetings and are responsible for preparing event proposals for groups and negotiating terms and conditions through to contract signing
- You ensure the achievement of individual and team targets that significantly impact the hotels' financial performance
- You enjoy networking and managing relationships with existing and new clients in the MICE segment
- You are the primary contact for larger clients before, during and after events
- You handle customer correspondence by phone, in person and by e-mail
Requirements
- You have completed vocational training or a degree in hospitality, gastronomy or a related field
- You have several years of experience as a meeting and event manager, ideally within the hotel industry
- You have experience dealing with complex event inquiries
- You possess strong negotiation skills and a competitive drive
- You are communicative, a team player and solution-oriented
- You work in a detail-oriented manner and consistently meet deadlines
- You are a sales-oriented personality with empathy, emotional intelligence and passion
- Lifestyle, travel and networking are a passion for you
- You have strong German and English language skills, both written and spoken
