About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with business process owners to facilitate Risk & Control Self-Assessments, guide stakeholders through Archer, and review completed RCSAs
Perform internal control validation and testing, including sample selection, documentation review, evidence gathering, and evaluation of control effectiveness
Review control deficiencies and management action plans, challenge where needed, monitor remediation, and ensure timely risk resolution
Assist with business continuity planning, testing, and program administration
Generate recurring and ad hoc risk reports and perform analysis for leadership reporting and risk transparency
Support loss event data collection and additional operational risk management initiatives
Build stakeholder relationships, promote risk awareness, and encourage consistent risk management practices
Support administration of Archer and other risk management tools and applications
Contribute to enterprise risk initiatives, program enhancements, merger-related activities, and special projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree with course work in finance/statistics/other quantitative areas or equivalent, relevant work experience required
2 years of applicable Enterprise Risk or Audit experience required; 3 years preferred
Experience with Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) or quantitative platforms
Knowledge of risk and controls, including internal controls and risk management
Proficient verbal and written communication skills
Project management skills
Must be a resident of WA, OR, ID, AZ, TX, GA, SC, NC, CA, or VA
Washington state residents within reasonable driving distance of Tukwila must work at HQ Tuesdays and Wednesdays
