💰 $22 - $27 per hour

About the role

  • Review mortgage applications and supporting documentation to ensure completeness and quality
  • Review Notices of Incomplete Application (NOIA) and approval conditions
  • Order, assemble, and prepare sales and marketing materials
  • Rekey loans as necessary and monitor daily reports for new mortgage applications
  • Order required third-party items for loan submissions
  • Track pipeline exception reporting to ensure service level agreements and regulatory requirements are consistently upheld
  • Provide guidance and coaching on procedural and process-related items
  • Manage Mortgage Division inboxes by reviewing, responding to, evaluating, and uploading documentation
  • Partner with mortgage production team members to analyze and resolve administrative or operational challenges
  • Assign online leads and mortgage applications to Mortgage Loan Originators
  • Mail initial loan disclosures and decline letters within required regulatory timeframes
  • Engage with title, escrow, appraisal, flood, employment verification, and insurance vendors
  • Review mortgage lead management systems to ensure departmental service and quality standards are consistently achieved
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or associated Certification (GED)
  • Minimum two years of advanced level clerical work experience
  • Comply with SAFE Act legislation, which requires annual registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO)
  • One year of experience working in a Mortgage Lending environment (desired)
  • Experience working with Encompass loan origination system (desired)
  • Proficient math skills, with a high degree of accuracy
  • Proficient organizational skills
  • Proficient verbal and written skills to effectively communicate
