About the role
- Review mortgage loan applications and supporting documents for completeness
- Monitor daily reports for new applications
- Order and gather essential items for loan submissions
- Manage pipeline exception reporting
- Provide coaching on processes and procedures
- Respond to inquiries in central inboxes and review/upload documents
- Collaborate with the mortgage production team to troubleshoot administrative issues
- Prepare marketing materials and assist with First-Time Homebuyer seminars
- Assign online leads and applications to loan originators
- Mail disclosures and decline letters within required timeframes
- Review lead management systems to confirm department goals
Requirements
- High School Diploma or associated Certification (GED) required
- Typically two years of advanced-level clerical work experience required
- Math skills, with a high degree of accuracy required
- Comply with SAFE Act legislation, which requires annual registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO)
- One year of experience working in a Mortgage Lending environment preferred
- Verbal and written skills to effectively communicate
