About the role

  • Responsible for the structural design of new software systems or extensive software revisions
  • Analyze software requirements and define system components for efficient, scalable architecture
  • Create and maintain architecture documentation such as design specifications and diagrams
  • Provide thought leadership and guidance to functional area and organization
  • Contribute to moderately complex aspects of projects and collaborate with teams
  • Customer-facing role with minimal travel
  • Typically reports to a person who has people reporting to them
  • Guide future maintenance and development and support SDLC/CI-CD practices

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Typically requires 4-7 years of related experience
  • Microservice Architecture Patterns
  • Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Bug Tracking Software
  • Source Code Management (including CI/CD)
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
  • Successfully complete background check
  • Maintain a valid USA driver's license
  • Mandatory pre-employment and random drug testing
  • Customer-facing experience (minimal travel)
