About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advise on and help implement changes to frontline service delivery
- Shape and grow the advisory and implementation support for local government teams
- Ensure effective and efficient service delivery for local residents
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams delivering technology, organisation and business transformation programmes
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years’ experience working with local government or community providers in consultancy or in-house roles
- Real-world knowledge and experience of processes, operations, compliance in adult social care, children and young people’s services, housing or employment
- Experience of Local Government Reform highly desirable
- Grounding in one or more of the following methodologies applied to local government services: Organisational Design, Operational Improvement or Change Management
- Experience of supporting digital transformation
- Commercial awareness and confidence in engaging with networks around business development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Experience managing and developing individuals, including coaching junior consultants
