About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Install, program, system start-up/check-out, certify, and customer training on assigned projects
- Runs wiring, installs hardware, and field terminate all devices
- Inspects and tests systems, batteries, and wiring; adjusts and repairs as required
- Replaces malfunctioning hardware when necessary
- Ensures installations comply with Stone Security Standards
- Familiar with basic blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures unassisted, may require assistance with more complex specifications
- Performs other related duties as required
- Travel is required.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Three years of experience installing network camera systems (Milestone, Axis, Hanwha and Bosch)
- Three years of experience installing security systems (DMP and Bosch)
- Three years of experience installing access control systems (Lenel and S2)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Aptitude for networking, computers and general IT is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3 years of related work experience required
