About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, configure, and deploy event-specific network infrastructures, including wired and wireless networks.
Install, configure, and test security cameras, ensuring optimal coverage of event zones.
Monitor live camera feeds throughout the event, responding promptly to any suspicious activity.
Troubleshoot network issues in real-time to minimize downtime during the event.
Act as the primary technical support contact for any issues related to network connectivity or surveillance systems during the event.
Maintain and document configurations for future reference and ensure smooth post-event teardown of all network and surveillance equipment.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 3 years in network administration or IT support, preferably in live event settings.
At least 2 years of experience with security camera installation and monitoring systems.
Strong familiarity with setting up both wired and wireless networks in temporary or mobile settings.
Preferred: Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or similar network certifications.
Experience working with large-scale events, such as concerts, conventions, or festivals.
Knowledge of advanced network security protocols and encryption techniques.
Experience with network optimization for high-traffic environments.
