About the role
- Lead and evolve the frontend architecture, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and long-term design consistency.
- Evaluate and implement component-driven development practices and reusable UI structures.
- Build and maintain complex, high-performance, and responsive web applications used by global teams and clients.
- Partner with backend and ML engineers to ensure frontend systems integrate cleanly with dynamic, AI-driven workflows.
- Drive engineering best practices across the frontend stack, testing, documentation, performance optimization, and accessibility.
- Contribute to design reviews, system-level decisions, and technical planning alongside engineering leadership.
- Mentor frontend engineers, lead code reviews, and help shape a strong engineering culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of frontend development experience, including experience in a staff or lead-level role
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and React.js.
- Proven ability to architect and scale frontend systems in complex product environments.
- Deep understanding of component-based development, responsive design, and frontend performance optimisation.
- Experience with state management tools like React Query or Redux Toolkit.
- Familiarity with styling systems such as styled-components or other CSS-in-JS solutions.
- Strong grasp of version control workflows (Git/GitHub) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across product, design, and backend teams.
