About the role

  • - Assisting with the examination of client operations and processes to determine which qualify for tax incentives, developing the appropriate methodology to claim those activities and the methods to maximise those incentives
  • - Coordinating the planning, organisation and execution of the technical portion of engagements, including interviewing of technical and financial personnel.
  • - Assisting the assessment of R&D expenditures, time and activities involved within all the projects
  • - The preparation of all necessary technical documentation as required by legislation and Revenue Guidelines
  • - Working with the client to help them develop their systems and know-how to assist in making future claims
  • - Client assistance in certain discussions / audits that may arise with the Revenue Commissioners

Requirements

  • - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or related disciplines, 2.1 result preferably
  • - Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)
  • - Demonstrated report writing and presentation skills
  • - Ability to quickly absorb and understand numerous technical concepts and translate these into technical reports
  • - Knowledge of the R&D tax credit regime would be useful but is not essential
  • - Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • - Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • - Advanced skills in MS Office environment (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook), familiarity with the MS Office 365 suite would be advantageous
