About the role
- Responsible for all stages of statutory audits including planning, execution, and completion.
- Responsible for the coordination and supervision of teams of up to 3 people on various audit assignments.
- A main point of contact during onsite audit field with clients, and responsible for communicating with, and managing client expectations.
- Key communicator with management and partner on progress and status of various audits.
- Exposure across a range of audit assignments and working on multiple teams.
- Adhering to budgets and ensure deadlines are met will be a key element to the role.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA).
- 3–4 years’ experience working in Audit.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of auditing standards.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a client service ethos.
- Adaptable and open to change.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (essential).
- Commercially minded.
- Ambitious and self-motivated.
- Effective time and work-in-progress management.
- Ability to delegate effectively.
- Demonstrates strong initiative.
