About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Contributes to the profitability of BDC by minimizing losses arising from BDC special accounts
Evaluates the company's long-term viability and action plan
Analyzes and identifies measures for assisting the entrepreneur concerned
Collaborates with various internal and external stakeholders
Develops and executes action plans for recovery
Establishes solid contact networks internally and externally
Recommends and executes liquidation plans for prompt recovery
Maintains thorough knowledge of special accounts processes and risk assessment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in business, preferred
At least five years of relevant experience in finance and commerce (professional or business services firm) or in business financing (financial institution)
Professional designation (CPA, CA, CGA, CMA or CIRP), an asset
Demonstrated ability to analyze risk and apply strong problem-solving skills
Thorough knowledge of the Bank's products, services, policies and procedures, and previous experience in managing special risk accounts
Ability to provide top-quality service to both internal and external clients
Diplomacy and strong conflict-resolution skills
Creativity and resourcefulness
Autonomy
Ability to work under pressure
Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset
