Field Service Engineer
BDField Service Engineer at BD managing installation and maintenance of medical devices on-site. Responsible for client training and technical support in France with occasional support in Benelux.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform on-site installation, preventive and corrective maintenance of medical equipment.
- Provide technical support and training to biomedical teams and end users.
- Independently manage your daily schedule and organize your service visits.
- Keep technical documentation up to date.
- Identify improvement opportunities and report or escalate customer requests.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of a 2-year degree (Bac+2) in electronic engineering, electrical engineering, GEII, MSMA or equivalent experience in a field service technical role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and networking technologies.
- Proficient in technical English (reading and writing).
- Experience with a CRM (Salesforce, ServiceMAX) is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong customer service orientation.
