About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Achieve or exceed sales goals established in the Annual or multi-annual Plan for the territory.
Plan and organize customer interfaces (calls, prospecting calls, day-to-day calls) on assigned accounts to present, promote, and sell products.
Utilize a lean approach to generate incremental profit or maintain current sales.
Develop approved business cases for customized offers.
Plan and organize travel for account visits to maximize account coverage.
Establish working relationships with all customer contacts.
Maintain records and reporting systems for the general operation of the business.
Prepare and maintain customer profiles on each customer in the area of responsibility.
Facilitate customer meetings to drive territory strategy.
Prepare and submit sales call reports and monthly reports.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree level qualification; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
4+ years of experience in sales or related field.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical or medical device markets.
Strong sales skills and ability to develop relationships.
Ability to plan and organize account visits.
Technical support skills or ability to bring effective solutions to customers.
Ability to prepare and submit various reports.
