Analyze and interpret tenders and develop market-specific responses for EMEA markets highlighting BD’s strengths and USP
Fill tender specifications, support SMEs and review answers
Support sales team with pre-tender and tender bidding strategies
Full project management for tenders, including timely submission on appropriate portals
Report and analyze tender outcomes and create/share lessons learned to drive improvement
Act as strategic partner to business stakeholders in strategic and commercial dialogues concerning the tender
Keep track of local tender legislations to ensure correct procedure and compliance with BD conditions of sales
Support maintenance of Tender Repository tools to increase efficiency and accuracy
Support analysis and continuous optimization of tender processes and tools
Collaborate with regional teams and develop processes for new markets
Support decision-making during tender process and ensure BD commitments are transparent to Implementation and Support Teams to guarantee revenue recognition or payment
Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferably with focus on marketing, economics, healthcare or law (advanced degree preferred)
4-6 years of similar experience or in International Business (minimum 4 years)
Excellent project management skills
Very good knowledge of MS-Office products
Excellent influencing skills
Knowledge of local tender legislation & practices, contracts and quote processes
Prior experience in tender management is advantageous
BD solutions/product knowledge is advantageous
Commercial feeling; commercial background is a plus
Analytical thinking with attention to detail; well organized; outspoken; collaborative
Ability to work under time pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
High level of independence, resilience and assertiveness
Very good English language skills; additional languages such as French, Dutch or Spanish advantageous
