About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and qualify packaging solutions for aseptic and non-aseptic medical devices
- Ensure alignment with domestic and international guidelines and standards
- Lead complex projects impacting design inputs/outputs, verification by testing/analysis
- Manage risks to ensure compliance to specifications and timelines
- Represent the R&D Packaging Function on multi-functional teams
- Mentor junior members in the organization
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Packaging, Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering or a related technical field
- 5–8 years of experience in packaging engineering
- Proven track record developing packaging design systems for sterile medical devices
- Understanding of ISO 11607-1 & 2, ISO 13485, ISO 16975, ICH Guidelines
- Expertise in Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), statistical analysis, and Design of Experiments methodologies
- Proficient designing different packaging systems
- Experience with packaging design software (CAPE, TOPS, Solidworks)
- Skilled in verification and validation of sterile packaging systems
