About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Strategic acquisition of new customers and expansion of existing partnerships within clinical and diagnostic laboratory environments
- Revenue and profit responsibility for the assigned sales territory based on diagnostic-specific potential and segmentation models
- Management of complex sales projects (e.g., systems, automation, reagent models) involving internal specialist departments such as Service, Applications, and Marketing
- Close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to develop customer-specific diagnostic end-to-end solutions
- Structured and continuous maintenance of the CRM system (Salesforce) for data-driven sales management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in a natural science (e.g., Biology, Biotechnology, Medical Technology, Biomedicine)
- Several years of experience in diagnostic or medical device sales
- Knowledge in molecular and/or microbiology is an advantage
- Strong market knowledge of hospital and laboratory sectors
- High willingness to travel (approx. 75%)
- Fluent German and very good English
- Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a high customer orientation
