About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer and maintain the CRM platform (Salesforce) including user setup, security profiles, custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and reports/dashboards.
- Provide technical support and training to sales users on CRM and other sales support tools, troubleshooting issues and ensuring optimal system utilization.
- Collaborate with sales leadership and other stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into technical requirements for CRM enhancements and new tool implementations.
- Manage data integrity within the CRM system, including data cleansing, de-duplication, and ensuring compliance with data governance policies.
- Develop and maintain documentation for sales support tools and CRM processes, including user guides, training materials, and system configurations.
- Participate in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new sales technologies and integrations.
- Generate and analyze sales performance reports and dashboards to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
- Support sales forecasting and planning processes by providing accurate and timely data from CRM and other systems.
- Stay up-to-date with CRM best practices, new features, and industry trends to recommend and implement improvements.
- Act as a liaison between sales, IT, and other departments to ensure seamless operation and integration of sales support systems.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in CRM administration (e.g., Salesforce Administrator certification strongly preferred)
- Proven experience with sales support tools and technologies (e.g., CPQ, sales enablement platforms)
- Experience in the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry is a plus
- Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Power BI, Databricks, Python, etc)
- Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
