About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and execute a multi-year territory strategy focused on growth, expansion, and retention
- Manage a defined customer base and build productive relationships across clinical, operational, and financial stakeholders
- Drive customer satisfaction through regular engagement, clear expectation management, and timely response to questions and issues
- Understand customer workflows, challenges, and requirements to conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions that showcase the value and benefits of BD’s Specimen Management solutions
- Progress opportunities through pricing, tendering, contracting, and implementation, involving specialised experts where deeper technical input is required
- Maintain accurate forecasting, opportunity management, and governance in Salesforce (SFDC), and provide clear performance insight during business reviews
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in hospital sales, ideally in IVD, blood sciences laboratories, specimen management, or phlebotomy
- Previous experience in account management within complex healthcare environments involving procurement-led decision making
- Strong ability to manage a sales territory and progress opportunities through longer and more complex sales cycles
- Commercial confidence with experience in negotiation, account planning, and delivering profitable business growth
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Clear communication skills, resilience, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced commercial environment
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Office, and willingness to travel extensively across the South of the Netherlands with occasional international travel.
