About the role
- The primary focus is on Central Fill installations. However, the Implementation Project Manager may be encouraged to lead and manage implementation tasks related to: Customized software orders – documenting requirements and scope of work
Business Integration Analysis reviews and documentation
System through-put testing (onsite, and in-house)
Customer Training sessions (onsite, remote, and in-house)
Onsite management during the installation phase
Project Management: Managing all post-contract activities through implementation planning and execution for new installations of pharmacy automation systems
Customer Liaison: Serving as the primary point of contact between customers and Parata's internal teams throughout the implementation lifecycle
Service Management: Handling contracting, quoting, sales opportunity creation, and invoice collection for various service types (removals, upgrades, conversions, inspections, training)
Reporting: Maintaining current project status using tools like Salesforce and participating in review meetings
Budget Management: Tracking costs weekly to ensure projects maintain profit margins
Supply Chain Coordination: Working with Procurement to ensure timely ordering, receiving, and shipping of project materials
Revenue Forecasting: Accurately predicting current and future quarter revenue for assigned projects
Target Achievement: Driving installations to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual forecast targets and revenue goals
Risk Management: Proactively identifying risks, developing resolution plans, and raising issues as needed
Requirements
- Understanding of implementation project governance (scope management, tollgate processes, risk and change management)
Strong documentation skills and experience with centralized reporting systems (Salesforce)
Experience in construction and automation project management
Prior experience working in or managing projects for central fill pharmacies
Solid understanding of pharmacy automation products is preferred (automation systems, pharmacy host software)
Travel by car and/or air is required. Travel may consume 10%-90% of the workday
Weekend and overtime and/or overnight work and travel may be required
