Junior Project Manager, Business Operations

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Measure project performance and monitor metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Support internal projects and, over time, take ownership of leading projects, running meetings, and recommending process improvements
- Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and assist in developing solutions
- Plan and manage team goals, project schedules, and resources (internal and external), ensuring projects remain on track and within scope, schedule, and budget
- Manage project-related documentation by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored
- Manage project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes, and emails
- Build strong partnerships and collaborate across teams to align objectives
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Liaise with management to define project requirements, scopes, and objectives that align with organizational goals
- Document complete project plan, identify milestones, risk, change management and metrics for success
- Achieve organizational goals while adhering to company standards and project management best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, technology, English, or a related field, or 3 years of equivalent work experience
- Strong communication skills with a focus on professionalism, responsiveness, effective conflict resolution, and the ability to clearly communicate with stakeholders at all levels
- Effective prioritization in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative team-oriented approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Strong organization and project documentation management skills
- Experience with project status reporting and milestone tracking
- Ability to proactively identify risks, roadblocks and process gaps
- Proficiency in Microsoft O365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Planner, Teams) and openness to leveraging AI tools
- Curious and motivated to learn new technologies quickly
- Confidence leading meetings and facilitating discussions
