About the role
- Build, maintain, and deliver recurring financial and operational reports on a monthly and quarterly cadence
- Pull and reconcile data across multiple systems to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Analyze financial results, identify trends, variances, and potential issues, and flag insights to the FP&A team
- Support close periods with increased reporting volume and time-sensitive deliverables
- Partner closely with FP&A leadership to refine reports and improve data quality over time
- Document reporting processes, workflows, and assumptions to support scalability and continuity
- Contribute to ad hoc analysis requests that support leadership in their decision-making
- Operate cross-functionally with finance teams and other internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, finance, accounting, or a similar analytical role
- Expertise in building and analyzing reports in Excel, including running functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and Macros
- Proven ability to work independently, manage fluctuating workloads, and meet deadlines
- Experience with the following tools is strongly desired: Microsoft CoPilot, Sage Intacct, Domo, Power BI
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to produce highly accurate financial reports that leadership can rely on
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to identify trends, gaps, and anomalies in financial data and flag issues proactively
- A proactive, self-directed mindset — comfortable taking ownership of work, asking the right questions, and not waiting to be told what to do
- The ability to manage fluctuating workloads, especially during peak periods such as close cycles
- Clear communication skills focused on numbers and insights, including the ability to explain data, patterns, and findings to FP&A leadership
- Sound judgment and integrity when working with sensitive and confidential financial information
- Comfort working with ambiguity, adapting as reporting needs evolve and processes mature.
