About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and timely
- Apply cash receipts and reconcile payments to customer accounts
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue balances
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues
- Maintain customer account records and update information as needed
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate billing and collections processes
- Support month-end close activities related to accounts receivable
- Assist with audit requests and provide supporting documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve AR processes and enhance efficiency
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Experience in accounts receivable or related role
- Experience with ERP systems (Peoplesoft, SAP, or similar preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and internal controls
