About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Accurately and efficiently handling incoming requests via multiple channels (i.e. phone, email, etc.)
- Provide active travel consultation towards the business customers, including providing travel details and up-selling of related products
- Work independently on requests as assigned and take the initiative to provide assistance
- Work with the team to provide day-to-day assistance
- Be the first point of contact for team members and respond to questions, providing direction on policies and procedures
- Work in project teams on projects related to operations and coach travel consultants when team lead is absent
- Expertly use the appropriate BCD Travel tools and systems to complete requests
- Anticipate and provide assistance on potential challenges that may arise for the customer
- Seek opportunities to review operational processes and the commercial relationship with customer and provides suggestions for improvement
- Perform quality management such as error management and assist in projects as assigned
- Meet individual and team goals
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in ERM, marine, offshore, or crew travel environments
- Hands‑on expertise managing crew movements, rotations, and disruption handling
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform accurately under pressure
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, 24/7 service environment
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a global, multi‑regional operations setup
- Solid working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures and processes
- Advanced skills on GDS Amadeus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proven ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Demonstrated excellent professional customer service and problem resolution skills
